The RAR Chair by Charles and Ray Eames. RAR stands for Rocking Armchair on Rod and was designed in the 1950s. This version has the original upholstery and was made by Herman Miller.
From 1968 to 1984, Herman Miller gave a rocking chair as a gift to all employees with a newborn baby! These were always upholstered and in the recipient's preferred color. This chair is undoubtedly one of those. The shell is fiberglass, the seat is denim-blue fabric, and the base is zinc on a black wooden base. In very good condition.
